Patient Rights

Patients at our Medical Center are entitled to be fully informed about the diagnostic and treatment services offered and how to access them effectively.

Right to Information and Consent

  • Patients have the right to receive clear and detailed information about recommended medical procedures, including their potential risks, benefits, and possible outcomes of non-treatment, in a language and manner they understand.
  • Patients can request a written copy of their medical records by submitting a formal written application.
  • Patients have the right to make informed decisions about their treatment, including accepting or refusing care after being informed about potential risks and outcomes.
  • By consenting to treatment, patients acknowledge their agreement to the planned procedures.
  • Refusing recommended treatment does not exclude patients from other available care and treatment options provided by the institution.
  • Patients have the right to request accurate evaluations and explanations regarding their health concerns and treatment plans.
  • Patients can obtain information about the mission and services of the Medical Center.

Right to Choose, Change Personnel, and Select or Change Institution

  • Patients have the right to know the identity, roles, and titles of their healthcare providers and can choose or change their medical personnel when necessary.
  • Patients have the right to select or evaluate healthcare institutions, subject to the relevant regulations and conditions.

Right to Refuse or Stop Treatment

  • Patients have the right to refuse or discontinue treatment, except in legally mandated situations, bearing responsibility for any resulting adverse effects.

Right to Privacy and Respect

  • Patients have the right to receive care in a private and respectful environment throughout their treatment process.
  • Personal and medical information remains confidential, even posthumously, unless disclosed through explicit patient consent or a court order.
  • Patients are entitled to compassionate, respectful, and professional care under all circumstances.

Right to Security

  • Patients, visitors, and companions are entitled to safety and security within the hospital premises, with all necessary measures ensured by the institution.

Right to Have Visitors and Companions

  • Patients have the right to receive visitors and companions in line with the hospital’s established guidelines and procedures.

Right to File Complaints, Provide Opinions, and Suggestions

  • Patients and their families have the right to initiate complaints, receive updates on their progress, and be informed of the outcomes in cases of patient rights violations.

Responsibilities of Patients

Providing Information

  • Patients must provide accurate and comprehensive information about their health to the healthcare team.

Adhering to Recommendations

  • Patients are expected to follow the treatment plan prescribed by their doctor and comply with all care instructions from healthcare personnel.

Refusing Planned Treatment

  • Patients who decline the proposed treatment accept responsibility for any resulting complications.

Following Hospital Rules

  • Patients must adhere to hospital regulations and respect other patients, visitors, and staff.

Payment Responsibility

  • Patients are responsible for covering the costs of their diagnosis and treatment. Any deliberate damage to hospital property must also be compensated by the patient or their family.

Visitor Regulations

  • Patients are expected to limit the number of visitors, ensure visitors follow hospital rules, and refrain from bringing food or beverages into the hospital during visits.

Hospital Visit Regulations

  • Visiting hours are daily from 12:00 to 13:00 and 18:00 to 19:00.
  • No food or beverages are allowed during visits.
  • Children under 10 years old are not permitted due to infection risks.
  • Visitors are only allowed during official visiting hours.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited within the hospital premises.
  • Conversations should be kept at a moderate volume to avoid disturbances.
  • Patients may not leave the ward without notifying the ward nurse.
  • Hospital property must not be damaged.
  • Patient rooms and restrooms must be kept clean.
  • Unnecessary use of water and electricity should be avoided.
  • Valuables should not be kept by patients; if necessary, they should be handed over to the hospital cashier for safekeeping.
